Sunshine Educare: “Mtha Welanga”
Sunshine Educare, known as “Mtha Welanga” in Xhosa, symbolizes light in darkness. From a humble shack, we’ve grown into a haven for 70 children, thanks to the support of Save Foundation. With two beautiful classrooms erected by Save and Kilroy, along with additional buildings, we now provide proper facilities for hygiene and education.
A Community Center for Hope and Possibilities
More than just a school, Sunshine School is a community center that offers hope and possibilities. Despite challenges such as malnourishment and high dropout rates, we are determined to uplift education levels in our community. Our Ubuntu Shop fosters community participation by exchanging donations for assistance in our initiatives.
